Dan in Real Life

Rating: 3

Even Steve Carell's charms don't save this dippy, sappy romantic comedy. It's also a shameful waste of excellent music by Sondre Lerche.

Hilary!

I love it when you get to the nitty gritty!!! Such a shame to waste the multi-talented STEVE CARELL. I always thought that we could play in toilets together, but I don't do dippy or sappy, or even poopy romantic...Is this worth a spot in my queue?

Craig - Though I may be biased by my passionate hatred of romantic comedies (When Harry Met Sally being the only exception) I'm not sure if I can even recommend this as a Netflick, sadly. It is such a crying shame to waste the brilliant Steve C, not to mention Juliette Binoche. This is going to sound nuts, but if you want to see some great Steve Carell, rent Bruce Almighty - I know it's cheezy Jim Carrey but hear me out - and fast forward to the Steve Carell parts.
They're totally pisspantsworthy.

I haven't even heard of this but how the hell did Steve Carell, Juliette Binoche and DANE FUCKING COOK end up in a movie together?!

It's gotta be either blackmail or voodoo.
