Anthony Minghella directed the wonderful films The Talented Mr. Ripley and Cold Mountain. His lush and atmospheric movies will be missed.

Mr. Minghella was worthy of many allocades, but he deserved a special award for Matt Damon's swim trunks in "The Talented Mr. Ripley".
Excellent observation! Not to mention Jude Law picking tobacco off his tongue, which you made me rewind and re-watch about 15 times. 'member?
